Deliveries as of 2014

So this goes like this.

I was so happy to have found a cheap way of delivering our oil around the UK through Parcels2go, until I was asked the content of the parcels. It was then I discovered that the list of prohibited items is so long that my kids Santa's letter is a tweet in comparison! An unsympathetic chat operator was not moved by assurance that Urrah! oil is packed in sealed tins that are used to travel far greater distances than the urban environs of inner London.

So it's back to Royal Mail - Parcelforce. Prices are around £38. But the good news is that they deliver fast!

I guess this is all part of the learning process, but damn, I wish things were a bit simpler and Christmas was in February!
